Guardianship

We provide a high-quality, compassionate educational guardianship service to students throughout the UK

Most schools and universities in the UK will require a UK guardian for students under 18. The guardian should be a responsible adult who, when necessary, can act in an emergency on behalf of the parents. Our guardians are experienced and trustworthy, providing care and academic support to students and parents during emergencies, illness and school holidays.

Special Events

We often hold special events for our students. Every summer we host a meet and greet with newly onboarded students and families, treating them to a traditional British afternoon tea. Students meet their guardians in the flesh, who give them a presentation on how to thrive and survive in the UK, answering their burning questions and resolving any unsettled worries. By the end of the day, parents feel empowered enough to leave their beloved children knowing they were safe and well cared for!

University Guardianship

University students under 18 need a parent or a legal guardian in the UK. Even though they may seem mature, legally, they are classed as minors. As such, universities require students living alone abroad to nominate an Educational Guardian.

UKG organises trips and residentials for students who study and choose to stay in the UK during half-term and shorter school holidays.
